Til Death Do Us Part, acrylic on canvas, 36 x 36"

Since receiving BFA and MFA degrees from the University of Chicago, Lelde Kalmite has exhibited her work in Chicago, the Midwest and Europe. She has worked as a teacher and nonprofit arts administrator, and currently serves as curator at the Bridgeport Art Center. This attitude toward nature could be seen as the greatest criminal tradition of all.
