Suzanne Gorgas was born in Story City, Iowa, and resides in the Midwest. She studied drawing, biology, and psychology at Western Illinois University and holds an MFA in painting from Northern Illinois University. She has exhibitedboth nationally and internationally. Gorgas is an assistant professor of fine art and director of the Laura A. Sprague Gallery at Joliet Junior College.
